The whole scenic area is composed of Qingyuan mountain, jiuri mountain andLingshan holy tomb, with a total area of 62 square kilometers. Qingyuan mountain is also famous for its immortals.
It is said that when Li Yun, the iron crutch, traveled here, he was sohappy to see the beautiful scenery here that he raised his crutch and keptshouting: wonderful! Wonderful! Unexpectedly, with too much force, the ironcrutch went deep into the ground for several feet, and suddenly a clear springburst out and kept spraying. Therefore, the first person who discovered thespring at that time named the mountain "Quanshan". This city is also named"Quanzhou".
The cultural landscape of Qingyuan mountain scenic spot is mainly composedof religious temples and palaces, stone treasures of literati academy, stonecarvings and stone carvings. It covers almost every corner of Qingyuan mountain.There are 7 large-scale stone carvings of Taoism and Buddhism in song and YuanDynasties, including 9 statues. There are nearly 500 cliff carvings. There are 3granite stone carvings with wood like structure in yuan, Ming and Qing Dynasties(the same as) Sarita and Guangqin master's pagoda. Since ancient times, Qingyuanmountain has been famous for its 36 caves and 18 scenic spots.

Carved in the SongDynasty, the stone statue is 5.63 meters high, 6.85 meters thick and 8.01 meterswide, covering an area of 55 square meters. Because it is the largest, the mostexcellent and the oldest Taoist stone sculpture in China, people in the literaryand historical circles jokingly call it "Laozi's number one in the world". It'sworthy of the name. The vivid and lifelike shape, exquisite charm, exaggeratedfreehand brushwork lines, simple and honest connotation, and the artisticconception of the unity of man and nature make this stone statue of Laojun lookespecially kind and lovely, full of enchanting charm. The most popular andadmirable thing is that the old man's manner is amiable, his eyes are deep andwise, his face is smiling, open-minded and approachable. He is full of warmhuman feelings, and he does not have a dignified and dignified manner.
