Sun Xiu, king of Wu, regarded it as an auspicious omen. He changedSongliang mountain to Tianmen Mountain and divided Wuling County into TianmenCounty, which was in charge of four counties, so as to enhance the politicalstatus of Tianmen Mountain. In the long history of 1720 years, Dayong waspromoted and abolished several times, and went through more than 30 times ofconstruction and reform. 　　In April 1994, the State Council approved the change of Dayong city toZhangjiajie City;
