91. One possible version: Dear Tom, I’m very glad to share our leisure activities with you. We join in different kinds of leisure activities, though we’re busy studying.

On weekdays, we prefer playing soccer and basketball in the open air. At weekends, mountain climbing is our favorite. It helps us share fresh air with singing birds as well as enjoying the beauty of nature. Besides, we are fond of reading or visiting museums to feel the cultures around the world. (1)本题总分为15分,按5个档次给分。

(2)评分时,先根据文章的内容和语言初步确定其所属档次,然后以该档次的要求来衡量,确定或调整档次,最后给分。

(3)评分时,应注意的主要内容为:内容要点、应用词汇和语法结构的数量和准确性及上下文的连贯性。

(4)拼写与标点符号是语言准确性的一个方面,评分时,应视其对交际的影响程度予以考虑。英、美拼写及词汇用法均可接受。

A school carried out a survey among one hundred students about their plans for social practice activities during the summer vacation. Here are the results. Twenty-four students are going to learn a life skill. Only ten are interested in having a yard sale. And sixty-six students want to do community volunteer work. In my view, it’s good to do community volunteer work.

Doing community volunteer work will develop our abilities to communicate. The community is like a big family of different people. First, we need to make up a group of volunteers by talking with teenagers. Then we are going to work out different plans based on old people’s needs. We can also organize some outdoor activities for the kids and hand out notices to better our environment. They all need us to communicate and work well with others. Now, I’m already looking forward to the coming vacation.
