摘要：A data base system is disclosed comprising an application server (40) capable toreceive a data request from a client (20) and an active repository (60) with a plurality ofapplication modules (62), wherein the application server is capable to issue in response to
the data request from the client (20) a request to the active repository (60) for anexecutable application object (61) and wherein the executable application object (61) iscomposed out of one or more applications modules (62) of the active repository, so thatthe execution of the application object (61) provides the requested data. Preferably, theactive repository (60) is capable to receive one or more additional application modules(62') to enable the servicing of data requests from the client (20) having a differentstructure.
