摘要：A system for continuously controlling the plastication time and shot size of aninjection molding machine to predetermined limits and along a predetermined path ofscrew axial position versus plastication time. The system includes means for providing aschedule of desired screw positions versus plastication time, a direct indication of actualscrew positions, and a comparator to compare the actual and desired screw position forany given plastication time and to provide an error signal representative of the differencebetween the desired and actual screw positions to control the motor which rotates thescrew. The control system also stops the rotation of the screw when the desired shotsize is achieved.
