我们家小区的后面有个菜市场，星期六，我和妈妈去菜市场买菜。
There is a vegetable market in the back of our community. On Saturday, my mother and I went to the vegetable market to buy vegetables.
菜市场里有好多蔬菜。我喜欢吃黄瓜、白菜、南瓜、土豆和玉米，就和妈妈买了刺刺的黄瓜，很新鲜，生吃脆脆的；青青的白菜，煮汤很不错；橙色的南瓜，蒸熟了特别甜；我还喜欢吃炒土豆丝和煮玉 米。我们还买了排骨，回家的路上，我对妈妈说：”爸爸一定高兴坏了，因为他最爱吃肉！”
There are many vegetables in the market. I like to eat cucumbers, cabbage, pumpkin, potatoes and corn, so I bought prickly cucumbers with my mother, which are fresh and crispy; green cabbage, which is good for boiling soup; orange pumpkin, which is especially sweet when steamed; I also like fried potato shreds and boiled corn. We also bought ribs. On the way home, I said to my mother, “my father must be very happy because he likes meat best!”
