摘要：An electrostatic spray head is charged with high voltage from a high voltagesource. As a liquid to be sprayed is supplied to the spray head, the liquid is atomizedpredominately due to the high voltage. The spray head is located within or closelyadjacent to a gas stream flowing along a path which extends in the spraying direction, sothat at least some of the atomized liquid becomes entrained in the gas stream. The gasstream has a lower velocity region and a high velocity region, of which the lower velocityregion is transversally closer to the spray head.
