摘要：The invention relates to a method for localising and rescuing persons in danger,of application within a mobile radio structure, such that the range thereof is theoreticallyunlimited. The invention is characterised in that a coarse positioning can be achieved byanalysis of the field strengths received from the emergency call sender at the mobileradio base station to give the approximate position, combined with a subsequent moreprecise positioning by means of a short-range tracker device. The tracking device canthus be part of a SIM card, such that the tracker device transmitter is not visible to anobserver and the above can also function with the mobile radio device switched off. Afurther embodiment has a SIM toolkit on the SIM card, which alters the software of themobile phone or itself provides an operating programme. Programmes for public ordiscrete coarse positioning and/or for activating the tracker device can thus be run oncommercially-available mobile telephones.
