摘要：It is intended to provide a method of transferring a gene into a plant materialvia a bacterium belonging to the genus Agrobacterium characterized in that the plantmaterial is inoculated with the bacterium belonging to the genus Agrobacterium in thepresence of the powder. The powder to be used in this method is a powder that has oneor more characteristics selected from the group consisting of: at least exerting noundesirable effect on a biological tissue and being insoluble in water; having an affinityfor a biological tissue; and having adsorption properties and surface polarity. It is alsointended to provide a method of constructing a transformed plant characterized bycomprising using the gene transfer method as described above.
