摘要：A method of making steel alloy wherein a base steel is purified in a tundish andthe purified steel is fed to a chamber in the tundish where alloying ingredients are addedto the steel to form the steel alloy which is recovered. Also claimed is a method ofmaking two or more steel alloys. In this method an additional step is performed wherefurther base steel is supplied to the chamber to supplant the alloy already there andthen a second alloying material is added to this further batch of base steel.
