The civil engineering is a world of creating thing which makes the structures that define our modern life and makes life better .
Civil engineering remains to be an integral part in our daily life. Obviously, civil engineers have provided our life in order but also have marveled the
world ,everything from the Great wall of China,to the Taj Mahal in India,to the Colossuem in Italy ,to the Petra in Jordan. In fact,all seven of the wonders of the world were of the civil engineering.
On one hand, engineering can make the construction of our city multi-level and the communications and transport in high speed. For example ,the high speed,freight,bridge,building and so on. The urban construction has been to develop in the direction of high and deep,to solve the urban land supply and demand contradiction.High way and high-speed railway construction is still showing a trend of development.
All of these are making our life better.
On the other hand ,engineers create more new materials which can be applied in some beautiful architecture with irregular shape and structure. For example, the bird nest is used in soccer and track and filed race in 2008 Olympic Games in
Beijing. One of the materials is special Q460 steel which costs the scientific research personnel half year to create. Known as national swimming center, water cube ,is another landmark building in 2008 Olympics. It `s main material is ETFE membrane plastic. These new certain function materials are what the civil engineers create to make the architecture perfect.
Well ,as the modern techniques are developing so fast ,our life is changing gradually in a harmonious way. Simply ,our life are what the
civil engineering have created and will create . It makes our life better.

A: Well ,it is easy. For example ,when you walk on the street,you can see the overpass, the high way ,the bridge. It is orderly not crowded. Obviously ,for the engineers design them what they now are. It is just because the civil engineering is reacting on that we live in a well-ordered. Then you can do your things .

A: well,there are so many it can. The sky scrapers,the tunnel ,the subway and so many things. In terms of the subway , it is different from the cars or the trains cause it is underground which can be used everywhere,saving the land resources.

A:The high-speed railway will be my answer. In my opinion ,it is not only in a high speed ,but also convenient. I can go home by it just costing two hours . I like it best.
