摘要：A climate control system comprises a closed vessel 2 containing a phase changematerial for absorbing heat from or emitting heat to an environment in which the systemis intended to be arranged. The closed vessel also contains a solid heat conductingmedium 6 for facilitating heat transfer within the vessel. The vessel may be a tube with acircular, triangular or square cross-section, with fins provided on a sleeve around its outersurface. The heat conducting medium may comprise random packing, such as metalLessing or Rasching rings. The phase change material may comprise paraffin and/orhydrated salt. The system may comprise active cooling and/or heating apparatus, such asa pipe 3 which carries a heat transfer fluid through the vessel. The system may comprise aplurality of vessels, and may be located partially in a wall, floor or ceiling of a building.
