摘要：For a torsional vibration damper, whose working chamber, formed by an innershell (17), an outer shell (19), a rear wall (15) and a cover (13) is provided to receive aseismic ring and viscous damping liquid (1), the housing body (1) bearing the workingchamber is made by a metal forming process in a spinning lathe, starting from a roundsteel blank (17), which is clamped between mandrel bodies within the spinning lathe, andis split into two blank sections (31, 33) which receive the contour of the cylindrical innerand outer shell (17, 19) defining the working chamber (5) of the damper by subsequentforming.
