My New Classmate

This term I have a new classmate. Now let me tell you something about her. She is a beautiful girl and her name is Emma. She’s not Chinese . She is fourteen years old. She is tall with long black hair. She has a round face with two big eyes and she likes smiling. She has some hobbies, such as playing basketball and fishing . We have made friends with each other.

A Trip to Beijing

Beijing is the capital of China and it’s in the north of China. There are many places of interest there. Millions of people come to visit Beijing every year. I have been to Beijing many times. I have travelled around Beijing. I have climbed the Great Wall. I have visited the Summer Palace and the Palace Museum.

Last summer I went to Beijing with my parents again. I watched Beijing Opera and enjoyed Beijing duck. I visited the Beijing Museum. I also had conversations with foreigners and I took lots of photos. We had a great time in Beijing.

How to Keep Healthy

More and more people pay attention to keeping healthy. It is also very important for us to keep healthy. But not everyone knows how to keep healthy. Here are some ideas.

There are many ways to be healthy. We’d better eat more fruit and vegetables, and take exercise at least one hour every day. We need enough sleep and rest. So it is good for us to go to bed early and get up early. Besides, we should wash our hands as often as possible.

In my opinion, we mustn’t drink or smoke. They are bad for our health.

My best friend

Tony is my best friend. He is from America. He’s the tallest boy in our class. He’s handsome and very clever. He studies very hard and is good at English, physics and Chinese. He often helps me with my English. He’s always ready to help others.

He’s friendly to others and gets on well with all of us. After class we often play basketball, football or other games together. He is an excellent student. I think I can learn a lot from him.

My Friends’ Hobbies

I have two friends. Their names are Tony and David. They have different hobbies. Tony likes collecting things. He likes collecting stamps best because they are interesting. David likes collecting kites because they are beautiful .

Tony has collected stamps for six years and he has collected about 350 stamps. David ha collected kites since he was eight years old. He has collected more than 120 kites now!

How to Learn English

First, you mustn’t give up when you meet any difficulties. Every day you should spend some time in learning English. Remember as many English words as possible and try your best to use them.

Second, read English books, magazines or newspapers as often as you can. It is

useful and important for you to improve your English.

Third , I think listening or singing English songs can make you feel more interested in English learning.

My English teacher

Miss Li is my English teacher . She is about thirty years old. She is very pretty and young . Her hair is black and long. Miss Li is very friendly and kindly . She always smiles at us. Sometimes she is very strict with us. Miss Li loves us very much. She teaches us so carefully . I think she is a good teacher. We all love her , too.

My favourite cartoon

My favourite cartoon is Snow White. Here I’ll tell you the story about Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. Snow White is a very beautiful girl , and her father is a king. Her mother died when she was young. Her step-mother was very bad. She wanted to kill Snow White.

So Snow White had to leave home. Luckily , she met the Seven Dwarfs in the

forest. With the help of the Seven Dwarfs , she met a handsome prince and married him. Finally they lived a happy life.

A trip to Deng Xiaoping’s hometown

Last Sunday I went to Deng Xiaoping’s hometown with some of my friends .We got up early . After breakfast, we met at the school gate at eight o’clock in the morning. Then we rode bikes to go there. It took us about half an hour to get there.

There are many interesting places. We played and took lots of photos . At noon , we had a picnic under a big tree. We returned home until it was dark . We all enjoyed ourselves. What a good trip!
