Some students prefer their English lessons to be taught only in English. They think the best way to improve their speaking and listening skills is to be in an English-speaking environment. But we Chinese students do not have this, so it’s important for teachers to create a similar one for them to practisespeaking and listening. Besides, in such situations, students will concentrate more on what the teacher is saying and think harder in class. Therefore, they may develop a habit of thinking in English, which will surely make studying more efficient.
