Summer vacation is always one of my favorite times of the year. It's a time when I can relax and have fun after a long school year. I usually spend my summer vacation doing a variety of activities.

One of my favorite things to do during the summer is to go to the beach. I love swimming in the ocean and building sandcastles with my friends. It's always a great way to cool off on a hot day.

Another activity I enjoy is going on road trips. My family and I will often take a week-long trip to a nearby state or national park. We pack a lot of snacks and listen to music while we drive. It's a great way to see new places and spend time with my family.

I also like to use my summer vacation to catch up on

reading. During the school year, I don't have as much time to read for pleasure. But during the summer, I can read as many books as I want. I love getting lost in a good story.
