摘要：A cigarette package is provided with a box body (8) and a tongue lid (10). Thetongue lid (10) includes a top wall (12) and a tongue (14) adapted such that the top wall
closes an open end of the box body (8) and the tongue overlies a front wall (30) of thebox body (8) at the time the cigarette package is made, and connecting lugs (20) in a pairjoined to the opposite side edges of the tongue (14) by side separation lines (26),respectively, and bonded to the opposite side faces of the box body (8), respectively. Theside separation lines (26) each has slits (59) arranged at specified intervals and portionsconnecting the adjacent slits (59). The connecting portions are formed into fatigue joins(60) by applying a load.
