摘要：Provided is a method of preparing a superabsorbent polymer which exhibitsmore improved liquid permeability and absorption rate while maintaining excellentabsorption performance. The method of preparing the superabsorbent polymer mayinclude the steps of: performing crosslinking polymerization of water-soluble ethylene-based unsaturated monomers having acidic groups which are at least partially neutralizedin the presence of an internal crosslinking agent to form a water-containing gel polymerincluding a crosslinked polymer; drying, pulverizing, and size-sorting the water-containinggel polymer to form a base polymer powder; performing surface-crosslinking of thebase polymer powder using a surface-crosslinking solution including one or moresurface-crosslinking agents selected from the group consisting of an alkylene carbonatehaving 2 to 5 carbon atoms, diol, triol, or polyol containing an alkyl group having 2 to 12carbon atoms or polyethylene glycol having 2 to 12 carbon atoms, and diepoxy, triepoxy,or polyepoxy containing an alkyl group having 2 to 12 carbon atoms or polyethyleneglycol having 2 to 12 carbon atoms, in the presence of first alumina particles; and addingsecond alumina particles to the surface-crosslinked base polymer powder and then

mixing them with each other.
