摘要：A metering device for measuring bulk particulate material, such as feed,includes a hollow casing having a paddle gate positioned therein. Rotation of the paddlegate dispenses a predetermined weight of particulate material into the outlet port of thedevice. A monitoring mechanism monitors the back up of dispensed material in the outletport stopping the flow of material into the metering device should the backed upmaterial reach a predetermined level, thus avoiding jamming of the paddle gate.
