摘要：Provided are a method and system for recommending content. The method andsystem enable a user to be given recommendations of contents similar to what he/shelikes. The method for recommending content includes creating a user profile according

to a predetermined model based on a user's reaction to the content, obtaining contentfeatures from one or more data sources, and creating a list of recommended contentsaccording to a predetermined process based on the user profile and the contentfeatures. The system for recommending content includes a user profiling module (100)that creates user profiles according to a predetermined model based on a user'sreaction to the content, a digital television module (300) that obtains content metadatafrom one or more data sources, and a content rating module (200) that creates a list ofrecommended contents based on the user profile and the content metadata receivedfrom the user profiling module (100) and the digital television module (300). The user canbe given recommendations of contents similar to what he/she likes.
