How to make the world a better place
As an adult,we sure can do a lot to beauty the world,not to mention that we have enough time to volunteer.I joined an activity called Happy Island.
It is a small library in a community and it’s free for anyone to read there.
There are no regular stuffs ,only we volunteers keep it open. Books are donated by people who want to share with others, and the owner of the library have no income from it.
The meaning of the library is to offer people a quiet and relaxing place when the world is getting busier and busier. It’s like a small land far away from the crowd and it’s full of happiness. I go there once two weeks,and then I will clean the place ,water the plants and arrange those books.
We try everingthing we can to make the little library better and I belive it’s
Important for people who read here.There young mothers with kids,old man wearing thick glasses,students who read so quick but maybe rember
nothing.Yeah,it’s just like a happy island, people are happy here.
I feel like I am making the world a better place by volunting there.
