摘要：The invention relates to a device for the continuous casting of metals, especiallysteel, by means of a continuous casting mold () which is mounted in an oscillating frame ().
Said oscillating frame can be driven so that it oscillates in the direction of casting (), thecourse of the oscillation movement and/or the frequency being adjustable. The
oscillating frame () is mounted with spring assemblies () arranged symmetrically on bothsides of the strand, for guiding and weight compensation. The device is used on acontinuous casting mold () with a shaped casting cross-section (), which is mounted in theoscillating frame (). The leaf-spring-mounted oscillating frame () can be operated with thecontinuous casting mold () in a resonance oscillation method in order to give thepreliminary section a better surface.
